Bon Appetit!

A wise man once said "Bam!"

Ever since I was a little girl, my grandma and mother have raised me to love food. It's the Italian blood within I guess. It also didn't help that I watched every episode of "Emeril Lagasse" on Food Network.

However, now it's a little different. I'm finally free of the "who even knows what this actually is" food in the dorm and living in my first apartment. My amazing family also followed tradition and provided everything that I would need for a real kitchen- yes, pastry brushes, seasoning rack, multiple knives, pots, pans, casserole dishes, cupcake pans, grater, sifter and all.

For the past couple weeks I've been told that I apparently don't cook like a college student. Ratatouille, Green Onion Mushroom and Tortellini Soup, and Parmesan Chicken Fingers don't go on the table for most students I guess.

BUT!! It's so easy!

My cooking love affair has begun (my boyfriend doesn't mind) and thus the college cooking blog has been established. I will try multiple new recipes each week and show you how easy it is! Appetizers, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Breads, Desserts, I will become a master and share it with you. Even the ugly. I'll include family recipes, various cookbooks in my now expanding collection, and attempt to master some of the art of french cooking.

Food brings people together and I truly believe that it also feeds the soul.

Watch out kitchen, here I come

Bon Appetit!
